Jamaica’s Reggae Girlz are drawn alongside Brazil, Italy and Australia in Group C following the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup Draw in Paris on Saturday.
Concacaf’s first ever Caribbean nation to play at a FIFA Women’s World Cup will begin its group stage campaign on June 9 against 2007 Women’s World Cup runners-up Brazil, Jamaica will return to action on June 14 against Italy.
The Reggae Girlz will then round out their group stage action four days later on June 18 against Australia.
Jamaica qualified for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup by virtue of their third-place finish at the 2018 Women’s Championship in October.
Following the group stages the top two teams will automatically advance to the round of sixteen, joined by the four best third-place teams.
