The Police have identified the Body that was found in a pond at the University of the West Indies Mona Campus, this morning.
The body has been identified as 69-year-old Dr Judith Rose Spencer.
The medical practitioner was of a Great House Boulevard address in Mona, St Andrew.
In a release on Monday, the university stated that Spencer was neither a student nor a staff member of the institution. It also stated that, based on preliminary investigation by the police, no foul play is suspected in Spencer’s death.
According to reports it’s believed that she may have accidentally fallen into the pond and died.
The statement further disclosed that the scene was visited by the Director of Security who gave further instructions and deployed campus security officers around the scene to assist in crowd control.
